Fifth  “Challenge Cup” Chinese college student proposal business contest closes

Fifth  “Challenge Cup” Chinese college student proposal business contest closes final closed on October 17. A total of 32 exhibits were awarded national gold medals and another 84 awarded silvers after evaluation of 129 from 22 contest regions including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
　　Some exhibits had attracted enterprise and risk investor attention prior to the contest. 13 items and 25 enterprises had reportedly reached intent of investment before the contest started.
　　The contest also made some additional attempts. Not only some domestic new and hi tech parks were invited for the first time as China Student Business Parks, but ten industrial celebrities including Liu Chuanzhi were employed as business teacher.

Compared with the previous four contests, the 5^th showed three distinctively different features: (1) Larger-scale participation, involvement of a greater number of colleges and universities and exhibits and the full participation of colleges and universities in HK, Macao and Taiwan for the first time; (2) Obviously increased proportion of China Student Innovation projects; and (3) Obviously increased service items closely linked to everyday lives, accounting for about 20%.
