The ACYF makes its role in providing opportunities for young people to demonstrate their talents and creativity through Sci-tech contest, award and promotion activities and helping them to seek successful employment and business via employment training and assistance. Programs include Challenge Cup Project— China College Students Series Sci-tech Contests, Youth Business China, China Youth Sci-tech Innovations Operation and China Youth Entrepreneurship Campaign, etc, of which the Challenge Cup National Student Extra-curricular Academic Sci-tech Works Contest has been implemented for more than 10 years with annual participation of over 1,000 universities and colleges and 100,000 Sci-tech Works at college, provincial and national levels.

 

China Youth Campaign of Employment and Entrepreneurship

 

China Youth Campaign of Employment and Entrepreneurship aims to help unemployed, ornewly-employed young people in cities and towns, Surplus rural young labors with job recommendation, skill training, entrepreneurship support. The priority of the Campaign is to promote the employment of university and college graduates.

China Youth Entrepreneurship Action

China Youth Entrepreneurship Action was jointly launched in 1998 by the CCYL and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. The Action attaches great importance to sponsor young people to start small business by providing skill training and encourage young people to set up enterprises of their own.   

Youth Business China-YBC

 

YBC is an entrepreneurship education project launched by the CCYL, the ACYF and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, which aims to help young people start their own businesses. In cooperation with the International Business Leaders Forum and Youth Business International, it mobilizes all social sectors, particularly the business community, to provide business-mentoring, seed-money, technical and network support to young entrepreneurs, thus help them succeed in business start-ups.

Its target group is youth between 18 and 35 years old who have the potential to start their own businesses but have little experiences or no access to seed money.

By the end of 2006, YBC has established 5 local offices in Shanghai, Shandong, Shaanxi, Fujian and Beijing, recruited a team of over 800 business mentors, provided information service for over 10000 youth, helped 104 young start-ups and created over employment opportunities. This program has been making considerable economic effectiveness for the society. 

 

Returned Overseas Students Entrepreneurship Week

Started in 2001, the program has been successfully held for 5 times. More than 3000 students returned from 26 countries and regions took part in the activities. More than 50 industry zones in 19 provinces (autonomous regions, municipality) were involved in business talks and human resources exchanges.

 

 

"KAB Entrepreneurship Foundation Courses for University Students"

 

In Aug.2005, the ACYF launched KAB (know about business) Program in China in cooperation with ILO (International Labor Organization). The ACYF aims to search a road for entrepreneurship education with Chinese characteristic while learning the experience of other countries.
