Session of 4th Extended Standing Committee of 10th ACYF National Committee convened
The 4th Extended Standing Committee Session of 10th ACYF National Committee was held on January 8 in Beijing. Over 200 members attended it. The secretaries-general of various working committees and provincial youth federation secretaries-general attended as observers.
ACYF President Yang Yue, speaking of the experience gained by ACYF in its history of development, pointed to the rich connotation of ACYF cultural traditions. “Youth federation culture reflects the spirit and concept common to the federation,” he noted. Strengthening youth federation construction necessitates deepening the understanding and grasping its cultural traditions, consistently giving it a brand new content of the era, consciously practicing its cultural concept and instilling new vigor and life into the development of its cause.
ACYF Executive Vice-president Erkenjiang Tulahong delivered a work report.
During the session, the standing committee of ACYF National Committee firstly proposed the bill to advance work. Participants advanced bills on principles of national development, hot and difficult topics in economic and social development as well as youth health development, and had full discussions on them. The bills involved the economic, political, cultural, S&T and educational fields. Many constructive opinions were presented.
ACYF vice presidents Wang Xiao and Zhang Xiaolan were present.
